Exploring Faiths is Atlantic Institute’s ongoing series of visits to houses of worship and faith communities throughout our region. Rooted in our mission of fostering respect and peaceful coexistence for all, each gathering invites participants into the sacred spaces, traditions, and everyday practices of a different community — from Buddhist, Christian, Jewish, and Muslim congregations to other faith and spiritual traditions that call our community home.
Hosted by clergy, teachers, and community leaders, these visits are an opportunity to listen with curiosity, ask honest questions, and set aside assumptions in favor of genuine understanding. We believe that real harmony begins with relationship: sitting together, sharing a meal or a quiet moment of reflection, and recognizing the humanity and wisdom within traditions different from our own.
Through Exploring Faiths, the Atlantic Institute continues its broader work of interfaith dialogue — building lasting friendships across religious and cultural lines, and inviting the wider community to walk this path of discovery and dialogue with us.
