Atlantic Institute, in collaboration with Istanbul Cultural Center at Tampa Bay, organized 1st Abrahamic Dinner hosted by Unity of Tampa Church (We are thankful to Rev. Debbie and Allen Moss) on April 4, 2013.
We had three speakers, Rabbi Joel Simon, Congregation Schaarai Zedek, Bishop Charles Leigh, President of Florida Council of Churches, and Dr. M. Omar, Nur Spirituality Institute. Upon finishing the dinner the topic “The Respect for Parents and Elderly in Abrahamic Traditions” was narrated from the viewpoint of three Abrahamic religions, being the Judaism, Christian, and Islamic faiths.
