DESCRIPTION:March 6\, 2018\, the Atlantic Institute held its 14th annual Peace and Dialogue Awards. The ceremony honored four individuals who actively promote diversity and intercultural exchange in Central Florida. \nThe Atlantic Peace & Dialog Awards is held annually where people of all cultures\, backgrounds and faiths gather to share their thoughts and views on the chosen topic of the year. This year`s topic was “Looking Past Stereotypes: Accepting Others in today`s world.” \nThis event also provides an opportunity to recognize distinguished leaders and organizations who actively promote diversity and cultural exchange in their communities and organizations. \nIt is an honor to recognize and award these distinguished community leaders each year. Publicly recognizing influential leaders and organizations encourages them to continue in their efforts to lead others to a comfortable familiarity through regular communications and joint projects. \nWith these leaders and organizations endeavoring in behalf of peace and understanding in our world\, a more peaceful relationship between our communities and nations is likely to result.
