We are excited to announce that upon the decision of Society of Universal Dialogue’s Board of Trustees, a new organization, the Atlantic Institute - Tennessee, is formed as a spinoff of the S.U.D. with a renewed focus on dialogue and education.
S.U.D. has been promoting dialogue, respect, and cooperation in the community since its foundation in 2006. Thanks to the members of the Board of Trustees and its hardworking staff, dedicated volunteers, generous donors and trusting friends and supporters, S.U.D. has become a symbol of dialogue in the State of Tennessee.
Gradually the Atlantic Institute - Tennessee will be taking over S.U.D.’s interfaith, academic and educational programs. while S.U.D. will continue to focus its efforts to community service activities as it has been doing since its inception with its new name Tennessee Istanbul Cultural Center.
It is our hope that you will also be as excited with the Atlantic Institute as it extends the scope of our activities beyond the local community center activities and echoes a broader category of community outreach via educational programs such as academic, interfaith/intercultural and civic projects intended to enhance dialogue and understanding among different communities. Our new name and the organization that is founded reflect both the extensive work achieved by S.U.D. and its notable reputation developed in the State of Tennessee.
We thank you for your continued support and look forward to seeing you at our future events.
