Neighborhood Iftar Dinner
Atlantic Institute will be hosting its first Neighborhood Iftar Dinner with the theme “Love your Neigbour" in partnering with Southeast Islamic Community Center (SEICC) and Istanbul Cultural Center.
A neighborhood iftar dinner is a great way to get neighbors together. Sitting at a dinner table with family and friends is how memories and traditions are built.
We believe that these dinners will help strengthen our families and build strong, healthy and vibrant neighborhoods.
The community believes that “even in the smallest of matters one neighbor can help another and we’ll benefit from our neighbor’s good fortune.”
For the world’s 1.5 billion Muslims, Ramadan is a time of fasting, prayer, closeness to God, family, and community. It is also the perfect time for Muslims to invite their friends and neighbors to share in the spirit of Ramadan through an iftar dinner, which are the meals that break the fast.
