On the evening of Friday, June 24th, The Atlantic Institute hosted a Community Service Appreciation Iftar Dinner to honor our local government officials, peace officers, religious leaders, and other public servants whose hard work is so often taken for granted. We recognized two incredible Atlanta organizations - Second Helpings, and Clarkston Community Health Center, for the amazing working they do in our community.
For the world’s 1.5 billion Muslims, Ramadan is a time of fasting, prayer, closeness to God, family, and community. It is also the perfect time for Muslims to invite their friends and neighbors to share in the spirit of Ramadan through an iftar dinner, which are the meals that break the fast. Please join us, so that in addition to honoring your service, we may also share a bit of culture and tradition with you.
