Our keynote speaker, Reverend Alica Kirkpatrick, is President of the Auburn Ministerial Association and offered an address at our first Table of Abraham. As an ordained Baptist minister, with a Master of Divinity from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, she has served churches in the Southeast for over 30 years. Rev. Kirkpatrick’s compassion for our community includes her role in founding the Community Market and Partnership for Children. She has taught courses at Auburn University (Women of Judeo-Christian Scripture and Introduction to the Old Testament), served as conference/retreat leader (Seeking Spirit & Truth and Holy Women/Wholly Women), and authored spiritual helps (including What It Means to Be Human, Adult Study Guide, Smyth and Helwys Publishing). She is married to Eric R. Bremer and they have two adult sons.
