Our nation is once again rocked with another tragic act of violence and terror. We, at The Atlantic Institute, strongly condemn this ghastly massacre that claimed the lives of 50 individuals at an Orlando nightclub, and has left so many more injured. We are offering our deepest condolences and prayers to the families of the victims.
This was a crime of hate against the LGBTQ community, and we stand in solidarity with Americans across the nation against perpetuating violence of any kind in our communities. As Americans we must come together as a people and work to build a society based on peace, mutual respect and understanding among all people. There should be no place for hate in our country.
We owe a debt of gratitude to the law enforcement and our first responders for carrying us during this horrible incident and continuing to remain vigilant in this time of need.
With heavy hearts,
The Atlantic Institute
