Annual Interfaith Iftar Dinner
On Sunday, July 12, 2015 over 150 guests from all religious and cultural backgrounds joined Atlantic Institute and Neshama Interfaith Center at the Istanbul Cultural Center in Alpharetta to participate in a conversation and Iftar dinner with one another. Together, the organizations featured three wonderful speakers who each represented one of the three Abrahamic Faiths: Judaism, Christianity and Islam. Rabbi Michael Bernstein of Congregation Gesher L'Torah, Mr. Kemal Korucu, Director of Interfaith Affairs at Atlantic Institute, and Father Jeffery Ott of Our Lady of Lourds Catholic Church lead the converstaion about the Power of our Words.
Following the conversation, the audience had the opportunity to join in and ask questions. The evening ended with an Iftar (or fast-breaking) dinner at sunset in honor of the holy month of Ramadan.
We are proud to jointly host this dinner again with our wonderful friends at Neshama Interfaith Center!
Neshama Interfaith Center’s Mission: To offer shared experiences where all faith traditions are valued, building bridges of peace.
